Optometrist: Dr. Robert Cushing
Each doctor is residency trained and certified in advanced optometric care. In addition to performing general eye glasses exams and contact lens fittings, the optometrists also diagnose and treat eye infections, dry eye, foreign bodies and glaucoma right in the Fichman Eye Center.

Optometrist: Dr. Jason Delisle
A Connecticut native, Jason Delisle graduated from the New England College of Optometry in May 2008. His experience includes externships at the Eye Centers of South Florida in Miami, Vision Care of Maine in Bangor, the Newington VA Hospital in Connecticut and the East Boston health center in Massachusetts.

Ophthalmologist: Dr. Steven Tu
Dr. Tu was born and raised in the hills of New Jersey. He went to Rutgers University and then the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO for medical school. His medical training involved traveling to several areas across the country, from Florida to Michigan to Pennsylvania.

Ophthalmologist: Dr. Michael Border
When appropriate, we will recommend you to a vision care specialist. Because your eyes are highly sensitive and complicated structures, examining them requires delicacy, skill and experience—all of which are provided at Fichman Eye Center.
A long time Massachusetts practitioner, Dr. Border is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology. Along with Dr.Fichman he performs cataract surgery as well as seeing patients for routine eye exams and seeing to all ophthalmic emergencies. Dr. Border also performs the "Quick Sight™" cataract removal technique that uses topical eye drops (no needles) for anesthesia. He also specializes in glaucoma management.
